You can donate money to help kids go to camp, improve our surroundings, or buy supplies from our Amazon wish list.
Every donation matters.

Matching Donation
Camp turns 100 this year, and we are rallying resources to return the property to a thriving space for kids and families year-round. We have secured match funding and sponsorships of $25,000, including our own contribution, and we need your help to raise the matching $25,000.
Funds will strengthen the camp's sustainability and create spaces for new programs so the Long Island community can enjoy another 100 years of camping, connecting, laughing, and learning.
Please join us in maximizing every dollar in this unique opportunity.

Donald J. O’Callaghan
We are saddened to share the news of the passing of Donald J. O’Callaghan on July 31, 2023.
Don worked for Cornell Cooperative Extension of Nassau County (CCE Nassau) as a 4-H agent and DPF 4-H Camp Manager/Director for over 30 years and also served two full terms on our Board of Directors.
Don strongly believed in “Making the Best Better” and our “Learn by Doing” motto.
Instead of flowers the family has requested donations can be made to the “Donald J. O’Callaghan Memorial Fund” to go towards a project at our DPF 4-H Camp in Riverhead, NY.

Let’s Make It Happen!
The 100th Anniversary Celebration will be a HUGE event!
To make each area of the event a success, several planning committees and boards were formed.
Each committee is responsible for a specific area of focus to ensure success in that area.
100th Anniversary Steering Committee
At the top level, there is the 100th Steering Committee. This is comprised of Board Members, Current 4-H Leadership, and Alumni.
The 100th Steering Committee meets monthly to review the overall progress on the Road to 100.
Individual Planning Committees
The Event Planning Committee meets at least once a month but can meet more frequently as desired.
A member of each committee is present at the Monthly 100th Planning Board meeting with a summary of their teams’ current progress.
